Pain In The Neck, Shaky Neck. Not Visible Outside. What Could Be Wrong?
Hi Dr, I have been noticing some neck pain in the past few months, this happens when I am at work, in a meeting or presenting in a conference etc.., the neck pain is very different, it almost feels like neck is very shaky and would not let me move my head direction, this happens only inside none of the others seem to notice.
Hello and Welcome to HCM
It seems that you are suffering from Cervical Spondylosis. As you are getting pain or aggravated pain while you neck is in one position like while you are working. A single stiff position result in increasing your pain.
Consult you doctor and get your X-rays C. spine done to rule out this. Also remember the pain may be due to anxiety also. Till you get your consultation please follow some instruction:
1. Avoid all jerky movements of spine/neck
2. Use hard bed for sleep and no pillow
3. Do regular exercise for C spine
4. Apply local analgesic and in worse condition take analgesic
5. Take some anti inflammatory drug
Please consult your doctor if you not get any relief.
