Pain, Stiffness, Weakness, Unable To Move. Not Much Relief With Muscle Relaxer, Tylenol. Solution?
Last weekend I was in my car for six hrs straight. The next morning I was in tons of pain but had to drive home. Eight hours later I arrived home in even more pain. The pain, stiffness, weakness, and inability to move has been increasing all week despite taking tons of Tylenol, hot baths, ice, menthol creams. It was so bad today that I went to the er and was sobbing in pain and could not walk. The doctor gave me two shots of muscle relaxer, some Tylenol three and a prescription for the muscle relaxer. It really has not helped much at all. It still feels like my spine is on fire and is tense and swollen. I am allergic to aspirin and such so she said my choices are limited. I am in so much pain and moving is so hard. What do I do? Why didn't she give me a pain killer?
Hi, it appears that the pains are due to the exertion, accumulation of the lactic acid due to exertion, hypooglycemia, etc. I to my patient with such pains prescribe nourotropic injections, antibiotics, infusion of dextrose, with sodium chloride, and pain killers. Thank you.
