Painful Below Belly Button Area, Cold, Cough, Runny Nose, Painful Above Penis. Meaning?

My son has been complaining of lower pain under his belly button....bowl movements are fine, no fever, he is getting over a small cold, just a cough and runny nose. Its on and off for about a week now. Was wondering when I should be taking him to the doctors. He plays fine and runs around good, still active, just complains about his belly hurting just above his penis below the belly button

it is sign of cystitis that is urinary tract infection
does there is any history of fever , trauma or drug intake
any history of VUR
or blood in urine along with burning micturation
do deworm him
and get urine re and culture and sensitivity done along with ultasound abdomen

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Pain in the area your child is complaining of could be because of urinary tract infection.

Does he have any other problem like burning urination or increased frequency of urination.

Get a urine examination and urine culture and sensitivity done after advise from your doctor.

This will rule out UTI.
