Painful Lumps On Toes, Develop Randomly, Make Toes Look Slightly Deformed. Cure For Symptoms?

Hi I have had a problem with my toes for about 3 years now. I only experience this in the winter. I develope painful lumps on my toes. They develop very randomly and will sometimes be visable to where they make my to look slightly deformed or I can feel the pain of one deep inside of my toe but not see it. Its not arthritis and tje lumps are usually towards the center or end of my toes
