Hello there,
welcome to healthcare magic forum,
Yes, you have taken a right decision now to visit a physio..... But remember you must visit a physio who is trained and certified in kinesio taping technique.... This can help you to get you out of the crutches.... apart from this you can use a open patella knee support/cap/brace to reduce the load on the patello femoral joint..... pulsed mode ultrasound therapy must be given prior to applying kinesio tape..... e-cell therapy is an very good tool your physio can choose for you..... or else you can order one e-cell device along with a bone card/ o.a card/ vascular card..... and use it at your home for 30minutes twice daily.....
wish you a healthy and pain free knee soon...
