OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
According to the size of the sac, your pregnancy should be around 6 weeks. At this stage, the yolk sac, fetal pole and cardiac pulsations are usually seen. As it is not evident, the sonogram should be repeated, preferably through the trans-vaginal route after another week. This should be accompanied by serial serum beta-hCG titres. Doubling titres every 2-3 days at this stage indicate good progress of the pregnancy. Take as much rest as possible, avoid stress in any form including sexual intercourse and eat healthy diet with plenty of liquids. Hope this helps.
