Pelvic Scan Done. What Is The Required Treatment?

Dear sir,
I am 25yrs old ,female, married, 3yrs. today i have done my (TVS) PELVIS SCAN AS PER MY GYNAE DR ADVICE.
UTERUS
ANTEVERTED, MEASURES 7*3.5*5cms. normal in size and echotexure
Myometrium normal in echotexture NO e\o focal parenchymal mass lesions seen
endometrium is measures 9.9mm hyper echoic
endfomyometrial junction appears regular .

OVARIES
Right ovary ;
6.3 normal in size ,
shows multiple [more than 8]follicles measuring 4 to 7mm with central echogenic stroma ]
no e\o ovarian cysts seen

Left ovary
measures 6.3 cc .normal in size
shows multiple [more than 10] follicles measuring 4to 5 mm with central echogenic stroma
no e/o ovarian cysts seen

IMPRESSION: multiple peripherally arranged follicles with central echogenic stroma in both normal sized ovaries as described above most likely due to PCOD
NEXT WHAT TREATMENT I SHOULD GO FOR............

You are suffering from polycystic ovarian disease.
It is common disease among ladies. Mostly it is treated by medicines.Surgery is required in few cases only.
You should consult your gynecologist.
You also need hormone profile test for PCOD for confirmation of disease. It is also correlated clinically.
Don't worry. You will be alright.
