Pieces Of Skin Hanging, Whiteness On The Bottom Post Wisdom Tooth Extraction. Remedy?
I got my wisdom teeth out Monday (3 of them) and on the bottom right it s just very messy looking. Some pieces of skin are just hanging there and it just looks weird. Some of the skin is white. I m more concerned about the skin that is hanging. It kind of looks like its been all cut up (which obviously it has) but I figured it should all be stitched.

How much time it took to get it removed and does dentist need to cut the bone along with it.??
As such after extraction there are nil chances of flattening of face because that area is covered by the coronoid process of mandible and lot of muscle and fat tissues.
Only chance it if he has to remove the chunk of bone along with the tooth.
You can go for extraction of other side as every case is different. explain your dentist about your previous experience. he will take care of you.

show it to a dentist and he will estimate how much is the skin flap remaining.
usually a small skin flap shrinks due to loss of blood supply to it so you need not worry.
if he decides that it is a big one he may incise it to a small one.
by the way he must have sutured the split ends . has the suture knot opened ?

It must be parts of gum - and it will heal by itself. Generally stitching is done for bleeding. No cause for concern
