Pins And Needles Sensation In Chest Post Cheering, Recurring Condition. Due To Excitement?
Yesterday during my son s soccer game, he scored a goal and I was so excited I was cheering and got a rush of pins and needles sensation in my chest . It was a weird feeling I had never experienced before, but I figured it was just excitement. But then again this morning I felt it again (not as strongly) while I was going to the bathroom. What could this be?
Hello dixonamy12, greetings from healthcaremagic.com . I am Dr Sourav Chakraborty and will be helping you out with your query. Your history is not adequate to come down to a single conclusion also you have not disclosed your age , gender and other co morbid condition that you might be suffering from like hypertension , respiratory and cardiac ailments and rarely thyroid disorder. If you are above 35 years of age and have mostly lead a sedentary lifestyle with regular drinking and smoking habits then i request you to visit your primary physician at the earliest and get your self checked . Examinnations like ECG and Echocardiogram are valuable in detecting regular cardiac ailments which can be controlled by medications and a disciplined life. Also the next morning when you had the chest pain, were you straining while you were passing urine or stool . We need to rule out angina for you and it relies heavily on the investigation i mentioned previously. I assume that you don't feel breathless after lying down or after sleep or after carrying out regular house hold activities , because if you do then it might directly points toward a cardiac cause as now you have started experiencing chest pain. Please donot neglect your symptos and visit your primary physician or cardiologist at the earliest to get yourself evaluated . Hope i have been able to help you. Take care
