Please Suggest Treatment For Dvt

I m suffering from DVT . I am taking acitrom evry other day. I have been suffering from this prboblem from last 8 years. I have lost all my hope beacuse i couldnt get rid of this problem keeping in mind that i consulted the doctor every week from last 8 years

Hi, can you please answer the following queries?
1. What is your age and sex?
2. DVT affects which limb and which segment of your limb veins?
3. Have you had a Thrombophilia profile done? If yes, please share the reports.
4. Why have you been advised Acitrom for so many years as the usual treatment is for 6 months.
Please share your latest Color Doppler report with us and I can advice you through how to manage the problem. You can even forward the report on 'Ask a Specialist' icon and contact me directly. I would normally advice you to stop Acitrom if you do not have any hereditary Thormbophilic trait and then put you on Tab Ecosprin 75mg for a few years along with compression stockings.
