Positive Pregnancy Test. Ultrasound Showed Uncertain Shadow, No Gestational Sac Seen, HCG 4000. Thoughts?

Hi. I ovulated 10/14 (used opk). Got a positive pregnancy test 10/27. I went to my OB today, guessing I m about 5 weeks and no gestational sac was seen using internal ultrasound. Questionable shadow but not certain. My Hcg was 4000 on 11/4, and only 189 7 days before that. Had test again today... waiting on results. She said it doesn t look promising, said she should see a sac at 5 weeks and HCG levels at 5 weeks. What are your thoughts? Could it be too early?

I suggest to go for a repeat ultrasound at a good center, some times ultrasound machines are not that senstive so as to pickup a 4-5 week sac and more senstive machine is needed to see 5 week pregnency sac.
Gyne will suggest you a good place for ultrasound
