Post LVH With Ovaries Left. Lower Back And Hip Pair In Post Operated Period. Soreness In Upper Left Abdomen. Is This Normal?

Hello, I am 4 weeks post op, a robotically assisted LVH, with both ovaries left, one week post op I had extreme lower back and hip pain, called my ob/gyn , he sent me blood work and C- scan, said everything was okay, now 4 weeks out still having hip joint pain, and extreme soreness in top upper left side of the abdomen, plus I am having a terrible time sleeping at night. Is this normal? How do I explain this to my DR.? I am a busy hairstylist , and I am due back to work in about 4 weeks. Thanks, YJQUA1

Hi, after hysterectomy, one week latter you had low back pain, hip pain. You also have pain in the upper left part of abdomen.
The pain in the left upper part of the stomach may be due to gastric irritation due to the drugs you have used post operatively.
The lower and upper abdominal pain may be due to the accomodation of the remaining structures in the lower abdomen, or due to some adhesions of the remaining parts there. Some times i find some patients feel the pain due to anxiety.
So i advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
