Post Menupausal, Trying To Wean Off From Vivelle Dot, Prometrium Without Hotflashes. Can Cause Vaginal Bleeding?
I am 62 yo w/f post menopausal x 7 years. I do take vivelle dot 0.375mg wkly and prometrium 100mg. Trying to wean off these for the past 2 months without hot flashes. Could this cause slight vaginal bleeding? No hx of menstrual problems, polyps/tumors, hysterectomy or pregnancies. No sexual activity x 1 year of any kind. Thanks, Dale

I actual advise to all of patient those who are coming to me with such complain, I say them just do nothing, Menupause is not a disease it is physiological phenomenon and happens to each every woman, menuplating it or disturbing the cycle can bring unwanted consequences, then why to touch it even if you do nothing it wont harm you, whatever happens during this phase can be easily managed, I would advise you the same thing, just do nothing, these all chemical agents does have many side effects which are not known to pharmacist too, take care of your self and have nice life.
