Rhinitis is associated with symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, postnasal drip, sneezing. It is usually due to allergies though there are non allergy causes.
Treatment involves:(1) enviromental control measures and avoiding the allergen (2) medication (3) some persons with severe allergies undergo desensitisation
In terms of medication antihistamines such as claritine are used, decongestants and nasal sprays (there are intranasal antihistamines and intranasal steroids).
Most of these are available over the counter, you can go to your local pharmacy and obtain them.
I hope this helps
