Pounding Headache For 36 Hours, Back Of Neck Feels Tight, Feels Like Liquid Filled In Head. Should I Worry ?
Hello, I ve had a pounding headache for 36 hours. My temples pound and I feel like there is a band that connects them over the top of my head. Back of my neck feels tight. Feels like my head will explode when I bend over. The sides of my throat feel tight - although my throat isn t sore, it feels a bit tighter to swallow . No forehead pain. No sinus pressure. My head feels liquid or shifty when I move around. Should I be worried?
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. It seems that you are about to get a viral infection and this is just a prodrome. You need not be worried at this stage and do take a paracetamol as of now but if the same persists for 2 days and doesnt respond much to paracetamol, do visit a doctor who would like to investigate you. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
