Pregnant. History Of Miscarriage. Prescribed Ecosprin. Will This Tablet Cause Any Harm To Baby?

Hello doctor...

I had an abortion on May 2013.... in my tenth week of pregnancy... due to baby stopped its heart beat.....

Now Iam 5 weeks pregnant and my doctor advised to take Ecosprin 75 to avoid miscarriage....Is it ok.. r tis tablet gives any side effect to my baby?..

Shall I continue this tablet... and please the give the use of this tablet??

Congratulations on your pregnancy !
Please exercise all possible caution this time around.
Avoid stress, travelling, intercourse.
Ecosprin 75 is low dose aspirin, given to increase the blood supply to the baby.
Please take it as prescribed, as it is recommended for women with history of abortions earlier.
Also, take regular folic acid tablets, progesterone supplements.
I hope chromosomal anomalies were ruled out in the couple before this pregnancy.
If not, go for regular testing - double marker, quad marker etc.
