Pregnant. Ultrasound Done, Low Heart Rate. What Are The Complications?
I had an ultrasound today of my baby, I am 13 weeks and 3 day along and the heart rate was down to 88bpm where as 4 weeks ago it was 167 bpm, should i be worried or can this be common and the heart rate to come back up, the baby was very active and the sonographer had trouble getting an accurate picture because baby wouldnt stay still...
Hi there,
The normal fetal heart rate is 120-160 beats per minute. There can even be a slight variation due to fetal activity etc.
In your case , I would suggest that you get a repeat ultrasound after consulting with your obstetrician,as fetal bradycardia is present
Have a nice day :)
