Pregnant, Experiencing Shortness Of Breath, Hip Painful. Are These Side Effects Of Pregnancy?

Hi! I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and experiencing a lot of symptoms no one ever prepared me for.

1. Shortness of breath/tight chest/racing heart. I went to the ER and they did blood work and an EKG and said everything looked normal. So should I rest assured that everything is OK even though I have difficulty breathing or push for more answers?

2. On my left hip (more specifically the part of the femur that protrudes out of the hip) is very painful. Sometimes it gets so "painful" that it get a sudden jolt of itchiness. When I don't have the shooting pain, it feels like a bad bruise and I cannot lay on it. Is this another side effect of pregnancy or could it be something else?

Thank you so much!

Hi,
Both the symptoms you have are pregnancy side effect.managed easily with few lifestyle changes & medicinal support if needed.
1. shortness of breath is to fulfill increased oxygen demand for fetal growth.
Respiration to be improved by changing respiration according to yoga norms.Thoracic breathing is best.
Eat iron ,protein vitamin rich food. Suplementary Iron tonic may be taken to have good hemoglobin percent.
2. the pain in left hip is due to fetus pressing on sciatic nerve.
Learn exercises for pregnancy sciatica- these by strengthening abdominal muscles bears uterine weight, & lesser pain is exerted on the
nerve.
Pain killers & vitamin B12 may be taken with doctor's consultation,in case of excessive pain.
Thank you.
