Pregnant, Migraine. On Prenatal Medicine, Fish Oil. Advise?

I am currently 39 weeks and one day and have had a migraine for the past 3 days(I say Migraine because its only on one side and I'm sensitive to light and sound). The only thing that helps it is lying on my left side (the side of my head that hurts) but it takes a while to go away. It started Monday night, and was mild Monday and Tuesday but Wednesday and Today, I had a hard time sleeping and kept waking up due to my head hurting. Its the front half on the left side of my head and it feels like its traveled down below my ear. Should I be worried and call my OB or is it normal? I have not had any headaches during this while pregnancy and it has been complication free(No GD, no high BP, no high rick signs of any kind). I also have not taken any medication for the migraine. I've avoided all OTC meds while pregnant other than prenatal and fish oil. Thank you in advance for your time!

Hi there, migraine is intensified in the pregnancy because of hormonal change. It does not mean that you will experience headaches for the rest of your pregnancy. It means that you may experience. You can ask your doctor to give you a medication which can prevent the possible episodes and it would be safe for the pregnancy. Some medications should be avoided like beta blocker class, etc. Best wishes.
