Pregnant, Tested For Gd, Have To Take Insulin Shots, High Blood Sugar Levels. Will I Deliver Early Due To This?

I was tested for gd at 28 weeks it came back that I have to take insulin shots 2 times a day and monitor 4 times a day. I m not 36 weeks 4 days and past couple days my blood sugar levels has been high and I ve done nothing differ same diet. Will I deliver early due to this? 2 weeks ago baby was at 5 lbs 8oz

You must take your sugar control seriously. Be in touch with your doctor to adjust your insulin dose.
Women with GDM ( Gestational diabetes ) often need an early delivery to avoid risks to the baby. Exact time will depend upon the antenatal surveillance results.
