Prescribed Celebrex. Have Dizziness, Nausea, Loud And Fast Heartbeat. Taking Stilnox. Is This Common?
My doctor has put me on Celebrex as an anti inflammatory. I am used to taking a sleeping tablet stilnox but the fir st night I unused Celebrex I went dizzy, nauseated and my heartbeat was loud and fast. I was really frightened terrified in fact Is this common? In the past I used surname which is no longer made and never had any effects.
Hi, Since how long you are using T. Stilnoct (Zolpidem) for sleep & in what dosage? has there been any recent hike in dose of stilnoct? Technically celebrex (celecoxib) can cause slightly elevated chance of myocardial events, hypertension etc. but its usually reported only after long term use. So it seems improbable that your symptoms were due to celebrex. Secondly have you been diagnosed with hypertension, hyperlipidemia or any of the risk factors for myocardial events or stroke like Diabetes? if so, I would advise you to bring these things to your doctors notice & change celebrex to something more suitable like aspirin, ibuprofen etc. good luck
