Preteen Has Been Complaining Of Nausea, Headaches, Blurred Vision. Reasons ?

My preteen daughter has been complaining of nausea for several months. We had her evaluated for gall bladder and that was negative. Now she is having headaches, nausea and some blurred vision at times. She has started developing insomnia . And I have noticed a difference in her academic performance and confidence level academically.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
the symptoms described are classical of migraine headaches. However, a proper evaluation by an neurologist and psychiatric consultation might be very useful.
Thanks and hope this helps,
Luchuo, MD
