Protruding Vein Extending From Armpit, Severe Pain, Tenderness, Swelling After Breast Augmentation. Vein Damage Or Infection?
I had breast augmentation through a transaxillary incision a few weeks ago. When I raise my left arm I can see a protruding vein or something extending from my armpit toward elbow, and I have alot of pain and tenderness at the top of my forearm and inner elbow and have some swelling. Is this vein damage and/or infection from surgery?
HI Thank for asking to HCM It may not be anything as you are thinking for it, prominent vein is normal phenomenon unless the area is inflamed and tender, it could be muscular pain you can try any NSAID will come around with this try to keep your arm immobile for some time have nice day.
