Pus, Epithelial Cells Found In Urine Test. Still Present After Medication. What To Do?
I am 30 years old (F). On date 02.03.2013 I check my urine and found Pus Cell= 20-25/H.P.F and Epithelial Cell= 2-4/H.P.F. After that I take medicine EVO-500mg ( By Doctors advice) for 5 days/day. Now again after complete of my medicine I check my urine on date 09.03.2013 and found Pus Cell= 20-40/H.P.F and Epithelial Cell= A Few. Please advice what I can do. Weather I am fine or I need medicine.

The urine report indicates that you have urinary infection.
I would like to know whether the urine sample was collected properly, that is in a sterile bottle and the mid stream sample.
As you have no relief after taking the antibiotic course, I would suggest you to repeat the urine routine test by collecting the urine properly and also get a urine culture sensitivity test done.
The culture sensitivity test will guide the doctor regarding the causative organisms and the effective antibiotics to be used for curing the infection,
Also, you should drink plenty of liquids.
