Raised Dark Moles On Head, Painful, Sinusitis. What Could Be This?
Hi,
My partner has (and has always had) 2 raised dark moles on his head, however one seems to have got slightly bigger in size and he said its been hurting these last couple of days.
Is this something we should be worried about as I know moles are closely linked to cancer.
He has been signed off work for two weeks due to a rare sinusitis, and is now on his third course of the strongest treatment which is a nasal spray, not sure if this could have anything to do with it...

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HCM.
It appears from your query that your partner is having growing mole. Moles per say are not problematic thing but whenever we see certain important things then are the warning signs:
1. Any itching or pain over the area of Mole
2. Any kind irregular borders in mole.
3. Any variegated ( different) colors you observed in your mole.
4. Any increase in size of mole ( more than pencil tip).
So according to your observation the mole is increasing in size and is painful, therefore it is better to consult a dermatologist at the earliest for best possibility of mole. Sinusitis is nothing to do with the problem of moles. The treatment for sinusitis can go on with the management of moles.
