Raised Mole On The Face. Need To Get Checked?

I have had a slightly raised mole on my left cheek for years, my father has same, light red / brown, it became swollen and felt like a pimple. I tried to sqeeze above mole, after 2 weeks it seems smaller, no real shape difference but a tiny bit larger, but still small. The pain is also gone. Should I be worried still or keep an eye on it.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
The condition can be a infected mole or hypertrophic scar..
You need not worry about it and keep watch on it.
Any abnormal increase in size of mole/ bleeding /color change in mole should prompt you for urgent medical attention.
Visit a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
