Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husban woke up this morning dizzy and then he said he broke out in a sweat and felt nauseated. He started walking on a tread mill the past 2 days and I believe his mother had high blood pressure? Could it be the flu or something pressure related?
But to find the right diagnosis your husband should check blood pressure for 2 weeks, and note the results. Then your husband should give the result to a cardiologist, for evaluating the results, and to determine if your husband suffer from high blood pressure.
If the high blood pressure result is negative then your husband need some to determine the diagnosis: 1- Neck X-ray. 2- Complete blood count. 3- Glycemic test, with empty stomach. 4- Lipid test.
The results of the tests will determine the treatment.
I hope you find this helpful.
Regards. Dr. Behar.
