Reason For Lump On Outside Of Jaw Bone After Dental Visit?
I ve noticed the past week a lump on the outside of my lower left jaw towards back of jaw bone. About 3 weeks ago I went to a dentist and he put a fake tooth with a post in my upper jaw. He had to go deeper with the pain killer because of my gum line. Would this be a reason? The lump hurts only when I press really hard it s moves around also. Any suggestions?
Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM, I have gone through your query, you have undergone treatment in upper jaw and now you feels lump like in lower jaw dont worry it be can be due to Carious tooth or Periodontal pocket , Do warm saline gargle two - three times a day, If carious go for Root canal treatment and if periodontal problem go for Scaling and root planning properly Go to dentist and get investigations if necessary IOPA , or OPG done Hope this will help you. Wish you goood health.
