Hello,
Any bleeding after menopause needs evaluation. Even spotting after menopause is not left untreated. I am not scaring you but this is true at your age even a small amount of blood is also not left untreated.
You should consult a gynecologist and get your pelvic examination and investigation done ( as early as possible) to rule out the cause of your bleeding.
There are three most common possibilities in your case-
1)
Endometrial cancer (Diagnosed by
endometrial biopsy)
2)
Cervical cancer and cervicitis (Pap smear and
colposcopy detect it)
3) local Injury caused by finger (rule out by pelvic examination) - in your case maybe this is the cause of your bleeding because at your age lining of the vagina is so dry and thin but you have no pain.
Is there anything which you want to share with us which help me in making your diagnosis?
One more investigation you required is
ultrasonography of pelvis to rule out other possibilities like polyp, fibroid etc.
If there is no cause is found then we should think of other causes like piles etc.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
