Reason For Swelling To Increase Even After Medicine For Sprained Ankle?
I was diagnosed with a sprained ankle yesterday. I am on crutches and using a splint along with pain medication. The medication is not enough, and the swelling continues to go up shortly after removal of ice. The foot has been tingling off and on all day. I am wondering if I should return to the ER or what.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
You can also apply icepacks for faster recovery. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
