Recently Had Quadruple Bypass. Non Smoker. Heart Muscles Remains Weak, Reduced Pumping .
my partner had a quadruple bypass in july this year he had a letter come this morning after he`d had a Echocardiogram it said there remains some weakness of your heart muscle with reduced pumping function he is 68 non smoker quite fit is there a reason to worry they said they would keep an eye on him in clinic should he be doing physio?
Hi, as your husband had quadruple by pass, he needs to be in touch with the cardiologist regularly, and physiotherapy may not have any role here. He will be tested, E.C.G, echo, and bleeding and clotting time regularly to prevent the attack again. Cholesterol also should be tested and kept under control.Thank you.
