I exercise regularly, I am a Masters swimmer who swims 2000 to 3000 yards 5 to 6 days a week. I am also 61. I came down with my second case of shingles a month ago, but had a minor case since I got the antiviral within 24 hours. Recently, the patch of shingles started to make a comeback, but I never got the lightning bolt pain with it. Could I be overexercising? Is it possible that I'm knocking down my immune system and should rest more until all signs of the shingles go away?
Recurrent shingles is only due to immunosuppresion.it can be HIV or HbSAg.rule out them first.if not take rest and develip ur immune system by taking proper nutrition
