Recurring Painful Small Cuts On Foreskin On Penis After Having Sex, Rashes And Itching Near Thigh, Between Toes. Using Imidhil Ointment. Infection?
Hello Doc,
I am 40 year old male, married for 10 years now, no children yet, My wife is 38.
We are quite regular and have sex and no problem in it. Now recently from past 15 days I see that I have small cuts on the foreskin of my penis after sex, it is painful. I apply some cream and after 2 days the cuts disappear.
what is the issue, is it just Yeast issue, beacuse I have rashes and itching near my thigh and in between my leg toes and use an onitment called Imidhil,

Welcome to HCM.
Fissures and cracks of the foreskin of the penis is common with yeast infection. Recurrence of the yeast infection may be due to:
1. Inadequate treatment -- it has to be continued at least for 3-4 weeks
2. Your sex partner also to be examined and treated adequately
3. Look for predisposing factors like Diabetes. If you are on prolonged antibiotics, or immuno-suppressible drugs it has to be attended and treatment has to be planned accordingly.
The rashes on your groin and inter digital space also need oral anti-fungal antibiotics along with topical preparations for 3-4 weeks time.
