Red And Patchy Skin On Cheeks, No Itching, No Swelling. Rosacea?
My skin gets all red and patchy on my cheeks and they have been there for several years now. At times, they get worse and the patch is more red and moves up my cheek. In the last few months, I ve experienced two times when they became tomato red. They don t itch or swell up. They re just red patches on the side of my face that look like rosacea . However, my doctor says that I m too young to have rosacea and that it should be all over the whole face.
Hi red and patchy skin over the chins can be acne rosasea or atopic eczema or photodermatoses.usually acne rosease starts at teenage age and persists upto older age.see for scaling on the patches which indicates it is atopic eczema.or seborrhic dermatitis.if erythema is associated with telangectasia and increases by taking hot food indicates it is acne rosease.first use a moisteriser in the morning and flutivate ointment in the night can cure if it is atopic eczema or photodermatoses.if no response use metrogyl gel twice daily to treat if it is acne roseasea.if still no response add adaferrin in the night and use of oral antibiotic azithromycin thrice a week can cure the condition
