Red Spots, Dermatographia In Between Thighs, On Panty Line. Hives Or Insect Bites?

Hello, I ve had Mosquito-like bites on my body for 4 weeks. My doctor suspects that it might be dermatographia, as the majority of the spots happen under my clothes and in warm areas of my body - in between thighs, on the panty line, etc. but occastionally I get a spot else where. How can I tell the difference between bug bites and hives?
