Red, Swollen And Bruised Thumb. History Of Fall. Fracture?

Hi, had a fall over the weekend and am unsure as to wether I have broken or fractured my thumb? The area at the bottom of my thumb and hand is swollen, the thumb is bruised and tonight as started to go red around the area. However I do have some movement which is why I am in two minds to go see about it. Appreciate any help

Thanks for posting your query
It could be soft tissue injury, ligament injury or fracture. It isbetter to get xray to rule out any bony injury. Get it evaluted by doctor for proper management.
In interim ice the area and elevate it, take antiinflammatory like ibuprofen to reduce pain and inflammation.
