Regular Period, Dark Brown And Red Spotting Starts, Test Negative, Pregnant?
My period started March 15th...it lasted 6 days...which is normal for me...I always get my period every 28 days to 30 days every month...I started to spot and sometimes a little heavier then spotting March 29th...it started out very dark brown...now it s a bright red color...this only happened to me once in my life...and I was pregnant ...I took a pregnancy test today and it s negative...is it to soon to detect?...can it be a false negative?...can I still be in the impantation stage?...
Hi,
It is too early for a urine pregnancy test to detect pregnancy at this stage. If you are sexually active without any contraception, then pregnancy is the first thing to be excluded. The inter-menstrual spotting you have could be due to ovulation; if it persists, you should suspect implantation bleed, hormonal aberration or a threatened abortion. You would only know now by a blood test for pregnancy and a trans-vaginal sonogram and have a visit to your doctor with the results for an evaluation and advice. Good luck.
