Sarcoidosis. Experienced Dizziness And Pressure On Left Shoulder. Increased Heart Rate. Experienced Syncope And Afib Two Years Back.
I have sarcoidosis. Currently not on any medication. Experienced syncope and afib 2 years. was medically converted. did the battery of heart tests=nothing except perhaps electrical misfire? this morning I experienced dizziness, and pressure on my left shoulder (similar to the symptoms I had 2 years ago however, I did not pass out this am) my heart rate was 126 bpm. During the night I experienced very strong heart beats almost to the point of jerking my body in bed. It is now 5 hours later and I'm still feeling lightheaded with slight center chest pain. Should I go to the hospital? YYYY@YYYY
Iread your query and you should go imediately to the ER.
The most probable diagnossis is again atrial fibrilation. A complete examination and a ECG should be performed in ER, if any arhythmia should be treated.
Hope i answered your query. Dr. Benard
