Scan Done. 4 Weeks Pregnant. What Does Findings Suggest?
my scan shows small haemorrhage adjacent to gestational sac measuring 9 x 6mm, free fluid in POD measuring 43 x 16mm. then assessment of early pregnancy is pregnancy site within intrauterine cavity, gestational sac size is 9.0 mm x 5.0 mm x 9.0mm and mean is 7.7mm. my pregnancy is 4 weeks and they said my hormone level is very high. what does all thses mean?
With a gestational sac age corresponding to 4 weeks, there seems to be a small hemorrhage (location not mentioned) - most likely a sub chorionic hemorrhage. This is due to minimal blood collection occurring due to separation between membranes during embryonic development. Most regress naturally and do not worsen the patient's prognosis. A repeat ultrasound scan may be done to see any changes.
Hope this helps.
