Seizure Like Experience. Suffer From Fibromyalgia. Dizziness And Ear Infection. Any Suggestions?

My husband has fibromyalgia but tonight as he was trying to go to sleep he had an a siezure like experience. He says his whole body seemed to be shaking for a few seconds. He is very tired and has had a lot of dizzy spells. Our Dr. thought it may have been an inner ear infection but that has been ruled out for the dizziness . Do you have any suggestions as to what this may be?
