Semen Analysis Done After Taking Paternia Tablets. Are The Reports Normal?
Hi, I am 28 and my husband is 33.We are married for 2years. We are trying for baby for last one year.
I had pcod problem earlier but after taking familon 1 year . Now doctor told it is normal.
I did my husband's Siemens analysis and doctor told us motility is very low and he suggested to take PATERNIA for 3month and get SA again.After taking PATERNIA 3month following is the SA report.This is the report of date 09/10/2013 but till now no positive result we found. Please suggest what we need to do now.My husband has vericocele in left testis.
Total sperm count -->110 million/mL
Morphology-->80%
Motility--> 1hr 2hr
Progressive Motile 20% 10%
Non-Progressively Motile 02% 02%
Non Motile 78% 88%
Pus Cells --> 6--8 /H.P.F

Semen Analysis is abnormal. The percentage of non motile sperms is very high. There should be increase count of Progressive Motile sperms for conceiving normally. Presence of pus cells shows that there is infection.
Only taking antioxidants like Paternia will not work. Antibiotic course with some blood tests should be done after consulting your local treating doctor.
Even after that if there is no change in semen analysis, you can try other methods of getting pregnant like IUI or IVF or IVF by ICSI.
