Severe Back Pain Due To Stress Fracture. How To Heal It Faster?
Hello, my name is nikola and for the past 2-3 years I've been going through a lot of back pain...I went to the chiropractor about two years ago and got an X-ray which confirmed that I had a stress fracture in the lower back l5 or spondyloltheis..I play soccer for school and right now I've had to stop because I realized it was not improving I quit going to the chiro. Because I don't have insurance at the moment, I am left footed and I think whenever I shot the ball it gave my hips an off balance I've been trying to stabilize my back with core exercises but I'm really impatient and want to return to playing soccer. Is there anything I can do to help my back bones heal faster and move back in place.. Not really expecting much since this is an online thing, but I'm slowly running out of options.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Mukesh Chugh's Response
Hi Nikola, After going through query and your passion for soccer my best wishes are with you for early recovery. Having said that although I have not seen your x ray or clinically examined you, my advice would betake diet rich in calcium (1000 mg) and vitamin D(daily requirement 1000 i.u.).Learn back strengthening exercise from physiotherapist and do correct your posture. Take care and I am sure by following advice you will get better. My direct online link is http://bit.ly/drmchugh
