Severe Breathlessness, Shaking Body. Pulse 115 Per Minute. Test Results For Heart Failure Normal. Any Ideas?
My wife was gettgng some clothes out for an appointment tomorrow. She finally had to come sit down because she is so worn out and having a hard time catching her breath. I checked her pulse after she was sitting for about 10 minutes or so and it was 115 per minute. She is 50 now and she was shaking so bad I was worried. She was told at one time that she had begining stages of congested heart failure but she was takep to the emergency room monday and they found nothing wrong. How can this be when she is having the same issues alot?
Unexplained increase in heart rate / breathlessness, with no clues on examination – is a possible pointer to Pulmonary Embolism. Other issues like Asthma or Anxiety come in the differential diagnosis. A second opinion and/or additional investigations will clinch the diagnosis...
