Hello Welcome in H.C.M. I have gone through your query regarding severe ear pain with gastric upset to your mom. As per clinical history of your mom it appears as she is suffering from acute otitis media with dyspepsia. Here I would like to suggest you that some times acute otitis media is so painful that it gives severe headache, nausea and vomiting specially when labyrinthitis sets in. Beside this there are lot of other reasons of ear ache and headache and that should be ruled out, and for this consultation with ENT doctor is necessary. At last if otitis media is associated with intracranial complications which are supposed to be emergency should also be ruled out as they also present with same symptoms as your mom have. At present you may give tab Paracetamol and Tab rabeprazole to your mother till consultation with specialist is planed. Regards.
