Severe Gas Problem, Consistent Burps, Vomiting Sensation. Best Remedy?
Hello Doctor Good Day I have a friend who is having severe gas problem. She tried some of the problems, ENO andthums up cool drink also and still no luck. She is having burps, vomiting sensation and farting also. Can you please suggest any best medicine ior anything can be done to fix this. S Uday Kumar 91 0000
I read the medical history of your friend and understood her concern.
I'd advise her to be careful with the foods and drinks she takes:
- eat often and small portions, slowly without rushing - avoid carbonated drinks - avoid spicy, chillies, fatty or high calories foods - avoid too hot or too cold foods or drinks - she can start taking simethicone - do not lay down immediately after eating
Furthermore, she must consult a GI specialist to exclude GERD and/or gastric problems and to run the following tests: - upper endoscopy - esophageal pH test - abdominal ultrasound - examination of feces for ova/parasites - culture of stool for candida
Hope it helped! Dr.Klerida
