2 weeks ago my husband who is 32. (He is 6 1 and weighs 185 lbs. He uses tobacco and alcohol). Woke up out of a dead sleep with severe head pain behind his left eye. I was very concerned. After about an hour the headache pain got better and he went on to work. He had every single symptom of a cluster headache . But he still had a lingering headache for several days so we went to the doctor . She said he did have a sinus infection and gave his some antibiotics but was a little concerned because his eye was droopy looking and swollen. He is almost through with his round of antibiotics and his eye has returned to normal but he still is getting headaches on this side of his head. While they are not near as painful as this first orginal headache was they still somewhat painful at times on and off throughout the day. If he is indeed suffering from cluster headaches would the headache pain be as severe as the first orginal headache or could it feel different. Our doctor told him if his headache or droopy eye still persisted after he was done with the meds then she wanted to do a head scan. He works outside in 100 degree weather doing lots of lifting and moving so I was just curious if he could indeed be sufferering from cluster headaches or if there was some other form of problem.
Hi,
Thanks for query,
It seems that your husband is having chronic sinusitis.
Go for Para Nasal Sinuses X ray and find out the cause.
Go for eye check up for having refraction of errors.
Ok and bye.
