Severe Headache Starting With One Side Eye Spreading To Face And Head. Advice To Reduce Pain

Hi,

I'm 31 yrs male, having severe head ache were only one side eye starts paining first and then it spreads to one side of the face and head. what should I need to do in order to reduce the pain. Sometime I pour Axe Oil in my eye and hold it tightly the pain will reduce in a while but sometimes it prolongs for a day. Advice me wht should I do.

Hi there, thanks for asking. It is good that you check with an ophtalmologist to see if your eye pressure has increased or if you have a new refractory problem. After eye check up and if it is ok, then it could be related to migraine. If it is triggered by light or noise, then it could be migraine. If it is triggered by alcohol drinking or it is with lacrimation (eye oversecretion), then it could be cluster headache. Ask more from your doctor after examination. Best
