Hello there!
If you have
fever with
headaches kindly see a GP to rule out any intra cranial focus of infection. Once that is ruled out all you need is the treatment for your migraines and lifestyle and diet changes and i am sure your headaches will vanish.
You need to avoid following dietry triggers in your food
Alcohol - Particularly wine and beer
Caffeine overuse or caffeine withdrawal
Chocolate
Aspartame - eg, NutraSweet and Equal
Monosodium glutamate (MSG) - May be found in Asian food, canned soup, frozen or processed foods, and the seasoning product Accent
Fruits - Citrus fruits, bananas, avocados, and dried fruit
Nuts - Peanuts, soy nuts, and soy sauce
Tyramine, a biogenic amine that accumulates in food as it ages, may provoke migraine. Sources include the following:
Dairy - Aged cheese
Meat - Bacon, sausage, luncheon meat, deli meat, pepperoni, and smoked or cured meat
Pickled foods
Heavily yeasted breads - Eg, sourdough
Vinegars - Especially wine vinegar
Some types of beans
Also proper sleep, regular routine and dark room with isolation and full silence will help.
rest and digest and chill.
I personally recommend two days combination of
acetaminophen and
prochlorperazine every week for 4 weeks and it has worked like charm so far for me.
Hope it does for you too.
Cheers
Dr S Khan
