Severe Headaches, Caused By Lesions And White Matter, Partly Relieved After Taking Topamax. What Is The Cure?
I have a enlarged area on left side of head (temple area) causing constant severe headaches. I have had a MRI with and without contrast, lumbar puncture and am on Topamax. The MRI showed I do have 8-10 lesions and white matter. The Topamax has helped the headaches in the eye area, but where the enlarged "vein/artery" is, I feel as I have been hit by a sledge hammer. HELP
Hi, Thank you for your query. The lesions of 8 to 10 number in MRI brains may be space occupying lesions or areas of abnormality. I suggest you to upload the MRI report for better understanding of the problem. Continue the medication. Hope I have answered your question. Regards.
