Severe Migraines Throughout Life. Severe Headaches, Nervousness, Sleepy After Coming Off Fiornal With Codeine. Withdrawal Symptoms?
Hi,,,,My 85 year old mother has had severe migraines since she was 12. A week ago her dr. took her off of her medicine, fiorinal with codeine, what she felt was rebound headaches. The dr. increased her nightly depekote. We feel that she is having withdrawl symptoms from coming off of the med. cold turkey. She is very nervous and sleepy and just doesn't seem as strong. Are there withdrawls from the fiorinal with codeine. Please help....she is miserable. Thanks

Based on my experience, your mother has withdrawal symptoms.
She needs to do yoga, breathing exercises or relaxation exercise, eat diet rich in fresh vegetables and avoid fatty food and coffee.
